With over 17 years of hands-on leadership in emergency services, technical rescue, and field operations, I’ve built my career on practical problem-solving, people-focused service, and the belief that no job is too small when it comes to helping others.
My background as a professional firefighter and watch commander has taught me to stay calm under pressure, lead teams effectively, and deliver consistent, reliable service—skills that now form the foundation of my business, A to Z with Manni.
Before entering the fire service, I completed a 3.5-year apprenticeship in professional plumbing and gas fitting in Germany, earning a Level 6 degree from the German Chamber of Trades and the State Dr. Georg Schäfer School in Schweinfurt. I also completed an additional year of hands on and formal training in carpentry, roofing, and machinery at the Jacob Preh Professional School in Bad Neustadt/Saale. This technical foundation instilled in me a deep appreciation for precision, structural integrity, and hands-on craftsmanship—core values that continue to guide every repair and project I undertake.
Another key skill I’ve developed came from the opportunity to spend seven years working in sales for a wholesale company, both domestically and abroad. In that role, I managed a broad client portfolio, built lasting business relationships, and consistently delivered high customer satisfaction. Putting people first has always been central to how I work—a principle I carry with me in every interaction.
In addition to my background in emergency services and trades, I also bring experience in sales, equipment maintenance, and scuba diving instruction. I hold certifications in various safety, rescue, and instructor disciplines, reflecting a lifelong commitment to learning, safety, and community care. This diverse experience enables me to approach home repair and maintenance with professionalism, precision, and empathy—especially when serving elderly or vulnerable clients.
